Are we allowed to boo him?

You can do precisely what you want, within the law - you can even leave before the final whistle if you like.
Personally I have never booed any player wearing the shirt, and I never will, because I think it's a pathetic thing to do.
But that's just my opinion.

Not even Ged Brannan?

I think the closest I came was a stunningly dire Barry Silkman display, which was truly awful even by his lamentably low standards, but I just shrugged my shoulders in resignation, trudged to the Osborne and proceeded to get incredibly drunk as quickly as possible to obliterate the pain.

I think you're being far too lenient. He should also be required to drive this car around the streets of Edgeley, Cheadle and Adswood for an hour a day with the top down, while blasting out 'The Boys in Blue' from August 1st up to Christmas Eve for an hour a day, match days excepted.

What a motor, its inspirational, might spray a shit likeness of Sheikh Mansour on my A3, it will be mint, prove what a huge, some might say massive, blue I am.
The Sheikh looks like he's trying to suppress a laugh in that pen portrait, which would further compound Yaya's humiliation as he trawled the streets of Stockport on his daily tour.

Very true, i think thats why i like it so much. More poignant if he was in a Bugatti though.

What a bunch of fucking prima donnas some of you lot are. 'Ride roughshod over us' ? Fucking lol!

He's said barely anything! It's you lot who are doing all the talking & spreading all the shit & blowing this out of all proportion.

One stupid comment by an onviously stupid agent, & 500 fucking pages of this utter crap, just keeping it going, on & on.

Yaya Toure hasn't grievously offended me, or anyone I know, we just think he's been a bit stupid. If he goes, he goes, if it's all bollocks, which is about 90% likely, & he stays, as I fully expect, & has another great season, as I fully expect, then it keeps our team stronger. Yaya has come across as a bit of a dick in this & should be embarrassed, but probably won't be. That's for him to live with.

Some of you lot, on the other hand, are just coming across as a bunch of sad fucks, & frankly, some of us think that's a far bigger embarassment than Yaya.

I hope & expect he's still here next season & I hope some of the spectacularly overreacting big girls' blouses in this thread, flounce off in protest.

Yaya Toure's agent has spoken some very harsh and offensive words about Sheikh Mansour. If you cannot see why this is problematic for some of us then I really can't help you either.

Exactly, he's no doubt guilty by association however Yaya has in the past on more than one occasion said not to listen to everything Dimitri ( who's not even a licenced agent ) has to say.

Re: Yaya Toure

The way I see it, his agent and whoever the hell runs/shares his Twitter account, started a whole bunch of crap while Yaya has been busy preparing for the WorldCup.

The twitter messages have been deleted since.

I have a hard time believing that Yaya is this type of a dude. I believe his agent is however.

That's good to hear. Which bit should we not listen to?

I don't believe for one second that Toure's agent woke up last week and unilaterally decided to go to the press and put the club/owners on blast. The interviews IMO were done at Toure's behest and he has to take responsibility for them in the same way that any public figure who employs a manager/agent to deal on their behalf has to take responsibility for comments made on their behalf.

In a way it's neither here nor there because ultimately as many people have said ... if he stays and performs as he did last season the supporters will fall into line. But it doesn't change the bitter taste left by this escapade just as no matter how many goal Tevez scored after his various indiscretions when he was sold nobody gave a fuck.

As an aside ... it doesn't matter whether Seluk is a licensed agent or not ... he speaks and negotiates on behalf of Toure regardless of who's name ends up on the paperwork for FIFA.
