Let's be honest. Do we really think Yaya can replicate the season he has just had? I'm not sure he can. And I'm not sure he's the kind of guy that can keep up any intensity in his play. In short, I don't think it'll be long before the big mans performances start to wane. So perhaps this may be a blessing. Get someone to take him for a few quid and free up a decent salary and get a younger talent in for the long term. We have to do this at some stage so why not now.

The last two tweets certainly come across as extremely cun....... precious.
This type of thing needs to be sorted out ASAP, not left hanging over the club for the next 2 months. If he really does want out because of this then he needs to let the club know properly so they can get on with whatever needs to be done.

Totally contradicting tweets by Yaya, but the latest tweets are very worrying.
Who can replace him ? No one, certainly not like for like, because there isn't another player in the world like him. That's not to say we can't get another quality player that will fit in and compliment the team.
No one is bigger than the club, I wouldn't fuck about now, just take what we can get, buy another player and move on.
