True but not as badly as Toure with the all the shit talking done by himself and his Agent... and the allegations of Racism really did it for me. Appreciate what he did on the pitch for us and yes he was an important player... but he left the club coming across as an utter dickhead... and to be completely honest he has come across as a dickhead in the last 2 seasons at City really and was stealing a living here. Should have fucked him off 2-3 years ago after Cake Gate

Shame about his legacy but for every Kompany, Zabba, Aguero there is players like Tevez, Yaya who do not find a real emotional attachment. Its why the club badge is always paramount to me than indiviudual players.

If anything, nasri probably didn't disrespect the club anywhere near as much as yaya did. The bloke was an utter embarrassment to the club at times while he was hear

Veron looked a better player than him when they played together in that charity game at the end of the season. Veron is in his mid-40s. I don't think Olyimiakos will be getting much value for money on this one, unless he is only playing for £1 of course

It’s a shame Yaya couldn’t help himself once he left, he will always be a legend at City but there will always be that little black cloud hanging over his legacy... I wish him well wherever he goes, hopefully to Greece..

Still think Tevez and Mancini were equally to blame for acting pig-headed. If one or both had stopped to count to 100, the stand-off might not have happened. Whereas with Yaya and the Slug, it all seemed engineered.

I don’t bear Yaya any ill will on balance but nor will he ever stack up against Merlin, Kun, Vinny or Zab in the affectionate memory stakes.
