Iniesta could replace Silva but not Yaya.

Nobody in the world can combine the pace, power, and skill of Yaya and not to mention his footballing brain which is amongst Xavi and Iniesta.

He's utterly irreplaceable. When the team is faltering he's the man who always steps up. That's an incredibly rare quality in football. I was actually surprised when he wasn't made captain as he seems a natural leader but then again Vinny is a superb leader as well. They're kindred souls I think, Vinny and Yaya. I remember last year before the trophy celebration after the QPR game Yaya came out after the rest of the team because he was injured and Vinny waited and walked with him so he wouldn't be alone limping behind. Was a great moment on a great day. I wouldn't trade Kompany or Yaya for anyone in the world in their positions.
