He's only 30, so I'd say that he has a couple of years left at the top level before he inevitably starts declining. I don't think he would ever make an all-time eleven (if it is indeed a 4-4-2) but he does have a case for the fourth or fifth group of centre midfielders.
IMO:
1) Keane-Scholes
2) Vieira-Gerrard
3) Lampard-Fàbregas
His longevity in the league is definitely a negative. In terms of ability he ranks highly. I'd like to see if he continues at this pace for the rest of the season, though.
