Yaya's agent goes in hard on Txiki

We have a strange habit us city fans of dishing of praise for ex city players who deserve fuck all, and not acknowledging city players who should go down as legends..

Not sure about that, but nevertheless Yaya is in real danger of having his magnificent contribution to City permanently sullied by the antics of the utter bell-end that he employs as his agent. He should take responsibility for dealing with that.

Milner is more thought of than Yaya for some reason. Don't let this agent ruin your legacy Yaya pal!
When the dust has settled in years to come Yaya name should be up there in the top 5 all time City players for what he's done. Mentioned alongside the likes of Colin Bell.

You are correct but you will never change it. The number of times I saw "he has never slagged us off" like that's all it takes. Give me a moaning Yaya than a polite RSC any day.

Give me a moaning Yaya than a polite RSC any day.

As if those are the two options. Which would you prefer? A moaning Yaya or a polite Silva, Zabaleta, Fernandinho and Aguero?

The bullshit isn't justified by his talent and, despite what some on here think, there are a plenty of more talented players than Yaya who don't constantly throw their weight around and act like the world owes them something.

Its about time the club dragged yaya in to Txiki's office and asked him straight , is your agent acting on your behalf ? , and if not , you need to distance yourself from his comments or you will be fined 2 weeks wages and will be sold to the highest bidder in the summer , a free transfer is out of the question and your contract will not be paid in full , negotiate your own deal with your new club , this has gone far enough , we need the club to act. Bad timing , but his agent is a complete c*nt of a human being.

Who gives a fuck what Seluk says?

He's like a schoolgirl in the playground: "You're not my friend anymore. I'm going to be her friend instead".

So what if Yaya does buy out the last year of his contract? As much as I have loved Yaya's contribution to our success and the part he has played in our rise over the last six years, he's obviously no longer the in his prime and I believe Seluk is just looking for one last payday , for himself, as well as Yaya.

Isn't this the same agent who was slagging off Pellegrini 12 months ago.......let's not forget it was also Pellegrini who leaked the news about Pep and forced City's hand.....plus our form had dropped along time before the announcement.
This forum is very fickle......when De Bruyne and Sterling signed and the Pep rumours started, Tixi was a hero.....now he is a convenient excuse to blame due to our bad form......Tixi has provided the tools (some were already here) for Pellegrini to deliver what should have been more than one title.......The fault lies with Pellegrini, because of his poor selection, tactics and insistence of continually surrendering the midfield....not Tixi.

Whatever anyone thinks about Yaya, his agent, Txiki or Pellegrini and regardless of whether there is any amount of truth in what he has said, there is no excuse for giving that interview. If Yaya has sanctioned Seluk making those comments he should be answerable for that because both the content and the timing stink.

Would love to see Yaya and Pogpa Nasri Silva Gundongen De Bruyne and Aguero in our squad next season.

Who gives a fuck what Seluk says?

He's knowingly and deliberately causing a disruption at a very, very important time of the season while we're preparing for the most important Champions League game we've ever had.

You might not give a fuck but this shit only intensifies the media/ public spotlight on us. What's better is that he's doing it on purpose just to benefit his client. And that's only natural for an agent but the fact that Yaya will never distance himself or condemn what Seluk says shows that he supports his comments, even the harsh yet oddly transparent ones (keeping in mind that the information and disharmony Seluk's spreading hasn't come to him in a dream, this information/ opinion has been shared with him by Yaya or someone else behind the scenes).

I'd just have Seluk fucking killed and his head displayed on a stick outside the ground. Yaya can lez off with it for all I care as long as the embarrassing shit talking comes to an end.

The comments from Seluk show that Txiki was wrong not to get rid of Yaya after cakegate.

I'd be more than happy to see both Txiki and Yaya go.

From memory wasn't he told he wouldn't play again if he didn't sign and he had high hopes of going to the world cup at the time ?
That too. And his club reminded him that he owed them a debt of gratitude after they rescued his career when it was seemingly going nowhere.

He signed, we paid Porto's transfer demand and wheels of commerce went round and round as they say.

Re the Pep announcement - so many posters just seem to disregard the facts of what actually happened - putting City into a bad light. City had no choice at all in this and kept it secret until that position was made untenable.

It was BM that forced the issue with deadlines given on a new deal - when these were lapsing they went public. Then there was the inevitable German and English press quizzing everyone at every opportunity until Pellers - rightly in my view - became of the opinion that the announcement had to be made as the resulting impact would likely be less than the continual distraction.

How can City - and on the club's behalf Txiki - be blamed?

It was as clear as night following day that this would happen with yaya and seluk. When this latest tactic doesn't work, they'll shift emphasis onto individual players and start revealing things that have been said in the confines of the changing room.
It will be something along the lines of, "City fans worship aguero and silva but
Yaya overheard them saying Manchester is a shithole ".
Seluk and yaya are thick and naive. Everyone can see what they're up to because it's so transparent.
Someone, whether it's a club official or a prominent member of a supporters group, needs to call them out publicly on the bullshit.

The best thing about Seluk's hissy fit is the confirmation that Yaya hasn't been and won't be offered a new contract (fingers crossed).

Pep didn't get rid of Yaya for a lack of talent. To create a team you need to have everyone playing for the team and not just themselves.

I couldn't give a crap what they have to say. What I will say to Yaya is, thanks for the memories and good luck. As far as this turd of an agent, like I said who gives a crap. Next season this lot will be history and only those that struggle use history as a tool.
