Yaya's agent goes in hard on Txiki

You certainly are my friend.

Yes Seluk is a dick, but he's the dick who Yaya owes a debt of gratitude to just that same as between Tevez and Joorabchian. They represent their player's best interests not the clubs.

In terms of Yaya, we're definitely a better team with him and the perfect storm for me would be to have both Yaya and Pogba here for the balance of Yaya's contract so Pogba can learn from him.

Hand on heart, Toure, Silva, Aguero and Tevez are the four best City players I've ever seen and that was taking the likes of Bell, Lee and Summerbee into account. It's just a pity Yaya's twilight years have been spent coping in a midfield two which doesn't suit him which is not his fault.

Yaya probably feels he has another 2-3 years at the top left in him and I would agree which is why Seluk is trying to illustrate this in his own unique way. Txiki had a job to do when he was brought here which was quite evidently to secure his mate Pep. This is why I believe Mancini was constructively dismissed to make way for Pep albeit 12 months later than the club would have liked, because who could have sacked him after QPR.

As for Pellegrini's treatment, he had a 3 year contract which he's seen out. We all suspected the 1 year contract extension he was given was just to stop constant speculation over his future and wasn't a vote of confidence in his managerial ability from the club. I trust he'll be paid handsomely for that final year which for a man who's responsible for our season on season decline since he came here and our inclusion in the fourth place mini league ain't half bad.

Txiki is in it for the money ? And Seluk isn't in it for the money ? Yaya paid 230 a week and he's not in it for the money ? Seluk looking for a new 3 year contract for a 32 yr old player and he's not in it for the money to some extent !? Oh please ! Hypocrisy . let's get back to the football Seluk and stop your whining let's see if your player is worth it come mid May when he's helped secure us 4th spot . Then City might do you a deal .
End of .

Mullock is just doing what his paymasters want from him. Any story that causes us embarrassment.
Believe me, within 3 months, I'd be surprised and disappointed if any City fan regards toure as a legend. He and his slug of an agent are just getting warmed up. They'll be no shortage of takers in the media who'll be prepared to print or air the bile coming our way.

I think he's a legend why? Because I like to judge it on what he's done for us on the pitch and not what his **** of an agent says to the Mirror. If it wasn't for yaya we damn well wouldn't be where we are now imo.

Txiki getting all the shite but people do realise the manager does get some say in transfers in?

Yaya is coming to the end of his career and he is not in a very strong position.
If he wishes to buy out his final year the Club is powerless to stop him just like they were powerless with Milner.

I will always be grateful for yayas contribution over the last few years but I will not be sorry to see him go as long as the club signs a better replacement. we may find it hard to replace Yaya at his best but not very hard to improve on the current day Yaya and as an added bonus we will not have to put up with his prick of an agent bad mouthing the club to anyone who cares to listen .

City are playing poker with Seluk & he doesn't like it. City have the cards & there not blinking, Seluk throwing anything at City to get them to play & it's not happening. Yaya has to come in & make a play & ask for a new deck but not at City's expense he has to move on with City paying fookall if they can..

The answer is to transfer list him. Let him decide which offer, if any, he's prepared to accept. Let him have his loyalty bonus on the understanding that he or his mouthpiece doesn't slag us off. (fat chance)
If he wants to leave without a fee, fine, just pay us the £12m for the final year of his contract.

He was involved heavily in player recruitment, which he did a damn good job of too.

And he plus Marwood got slated for every player who didn't make it. Yet rarely respected for getting the ones who did.

I recon landing DeBruyne & Sterling was a great summer by anyone's standards. Fernandinho, Negredo & Navas was also a great bit of recruitment. Whoever does the job, a percentage of players will fail. It's the case now, that they cost a lot of money.

Yes in terms of securing the targets selected by his manager. This is why Mancini knew it was the beginning of the end for him once Ferran and Txiki rocked up to the Etihad. And so it proved as Pep was always suspected as being the final piece of that particular jigsaw albeit Pellegrini was brought in to keep the seat warm until Pep became available again.
