That will depend on how Pep deals with players egos plus what he already knows about Yaya and Seluk. If Seluk says Yaya will buy out his contract to force one last lucrative deal, and if this threat is serious, then it's bye bye Yaya. The last thing the club needs is for a disruptive force part of, or close to, the squad who is spreading tales of how messed up the squad is and Seluk is doing that nicely. Yaya should either shut him up, sack him or just move on. It's the only way forward.

For what it's worth, I can only see Yaya being at City in August as a combination of his high earnings demands, his diminishing force and, crucially, the baggage that comes with Seluk scaring off potential employers. For these reasons, you may yet get your wish.

Pellegrini let Chelsea win the league by 8 points last year and look where they are now.

You are right, apart from his first season when he inherited Mancini's squad, he has not progressed us forward in any shape or form.

He has also persisted with Yaya despite him putting in some abysmal performances.

I will accept this disappointing season if Pep can put some fire back into the team.

6 out of 11 that started yesterday were Txiki's signing yet we manage to slag him off for his "failed" dealings. Not a lot of people could have nicked KDB considering how cocky Wolfsburg were and Munich and PSG on it as well. However must say his best deal has to be Sagna.
