Yemen School Bus Attack

Before anyone decides to compare me to Jeremy Corbyn again, which i now see as a huge compliment so thank you for referring to me as you do him, here is another article which details the extreme abuse against humans and something our government is complicit in.

Can't wait for the reaction when the UAE are implicated in this thread.

People will be claiming I'm a United fan and have had this agenda since 09 when i joined BM.
I presume you're still trawling the internet to find a story to back up your child rape claim from the other day but found this one instead.

Lot of concern about the circumstances of the death of the journalist Khasshogi and the alleged involvement of the Saudis and rightly so.
Not aware that the deaths of forty school school children in a bombing carried out by our Saudi allies resulted in the same level of outrage and concern.
Worth keeping this thread alive as a reminder.

They’re costly things, principles.
The Saudis are a disgusting regime but they supply us with oil and buy arms from us. The hypocrisy from British politicians stinks. I understand that Corbyn is making the right noises but it’s easy when you’re not in power and don’t have to address the economic consequences of your actions.
The good work he says he’d like to do in education and health as well as employing and rewarding public sector employees would be more difficult if we’re paying more for oil elsewhere and our arms industry takes a hit.
The economy is key to everything. Without growth and wealth creation, good intentions are a pipe dream.

Reality.

Forty kids dead.

Terrible and downright disgusting but the politics of it, what actually happens out there in the world and what virtually every government, leader, PM or president does is kick a small fuss up if its an allies and then goes about its business which normally doesn't give a flying fuck about 99% of its citizens.

Don't make the mistake of thinking we dont care Len or dont give a fuck, i posted reality because that's just what it is, reality.

Its reality because we allow it to be reality. We elect MP's to do our bidding we are told - so ceasing support for the Saudi war being raised in Yemen could be done as I am pretty sure that every member of the electorate is against the killing of women and kids with "our" weapons.

Having said that we have been helping bomb and kill in Syria - we are a hypocritical bunch.

The situation in Yemen appears to be beyond the pale the politicians and moneymakers don't do anything about it although we genuinely want them to. But the world is a strange place, even though Blair fudged the Iraq war ignoring a huge swell of public opinion against it British Muslims still voted for him they never seemed to hold him and his party to account for it.
There's nowt stranger than folk.
