Only realised this yesterday. Not sure I want such a classic show remade.

Saw the trailer. Looks like an abomination of the original. More closely related to Mrs Brown's Boys than The Thick of it.

I've got the box set of the original and I love it, it was on TV before my time but can I can still appreciate how funny and still relevant today.

I'll watch the remake but I cannot see it being any good

As for the stage show, I saw it advertised on poster on the Tube but I didn't go and see it, wish I had cos it would have been interesting to see how they would have done it

Cast is terrible. They spend more time trying to mimic the cast of the original than actually acting the part properly.

Whoever cast the role of 'Bernard' needs shooting!!
