Close to the Edge and Relayer are astonishingly good but their last few albums have been dire in the extreme, time to call it a day and thanks for the memories.

The last two have been woeful and I agree they should quit De filing the name.

Absolute top notch musicians. Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman on another planet technically. Great harmonies, great prog rock massive opus's.
I really like a lot of Prog bands but Yes for me were top of the list.

Uncle Bill how can you forget the mercurial Chris Squire in Bass ?

I will too, my brother was a fan of the group as I was growing up so the music seemed to be forever blasting out of his Bass record player, therefore it was yet another group I inherited his taste of music from and no wonder my taste is so eclectic. What a keyboard player, is there anyone better than Rick Wakeman? The slightly unusual voice of Jon Anderson but fits the sound of Yes so well. A brilliant group yes (no pun intended) but I can’t say the best because I just couldn’t say who is or was.
