Yet another Ebay query

Except ebay put up their fees 2.8% to cover the difference.

I have no knowledge of the 2.8% rise you talk of, but ebay have no losses to cover, it's PayPal that's likely to lose money.

eBay's commission rate of 10% is very high in my opinion, if I ever sell on there these days, I wait till they offer me an offer of a £1 selling fees.
and I tend to buy from Amazon more and more nowadays.
