Depressing

I did Darlington away in the FA cup a couple of weeks before the York away - a Friday night - have never been anywhere as cold, even the piss in the roofless toilets froze.

It even kick off in our stands and some of our lads had a go at the City coaches which included Willie Donachie.

Dark dark days and then York.

Wrexham away was the turning point on Boxing Day.

I was there - we had a great day - pissed up as usual and had a couple of pints afterwards in the supporters club in an attempt to dodge the traffic - still got stuck in it though.

Our journey there was unbelievable, I borrowed the wife's car and went through the Yorkshire dales D roads, running over sheep on the way

No. but I went to most of the Home games that season including watching the play-off semi away on the big screen at Maine Road. I did visit York in the mid 80's to watch Altringham in the FA Cup.

I was there and thats why you'll always be in the shadow of the real kippax kid

Aaaah Halifax away, the good old days, totally did my head in, the red shite drew with spuds away, got to my local and did I get some shit off the half witted scumbags? All fkn weekend! Anyway Ozzie in the replay in extra time did make me feel slightly better, I can still see Gary fluky bailey scrambling In mid air trying to get to ozzies chip, didn't see none of the scum for weeks.

I went to every game that season most of them with leve blues

it always makes me laugh when people go on about York

Colchester away was for the real hard core fans

Saturday tea time only got a very limited amount of tickets and it was one of the first pay for view gamse

thanks to tickets from Paul Dickov we even got to change ends
a lot less fans there than a sat 3pm at York

ah Bournemouth away midweek late 80's and on a saturday,Went to both and saw my ex who was a nurse at Boscombe Hospital.Must have got home next morning about 4am.Didnt go to York, Lincoln, Wycombe, Northampton,wish I had would have numbered a few more grounds on my list making it nearly 90.Have sen City play at 70 different english clubs and about 80 odd different grounds
