A client of mine, farmer, has just bought one, straight 6, 150 bhp. He already has an old defender and a new Range Rover . There is no way he going to put 2 dogs, a sheep and lamb and a bale of hay in the back of one of those. His excuse...he works 7 days a week, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, is 74 and he wants it.The new Defenders are quit nice but that's the wrong spec. The one to have is the farmyard spec base model with steel wheels. All others skirt dangerously close to Evoque / Range Rover Sport Cheshire Chav territory.

Good for him. Though not sure what you mean in the specs. The base spec is the 250hp ‘hard top’ with steel wheels. Which IMO is the one to go for.A client of mine, farmer, has just bought one, straight 6, 150 bhp. He already has an old defender and a new Range Rover . Scouse ****. Shit luck against Arsenal tomorrow.I know we can't sell it, but has the op stated if we can torch the car and claim on the insurance?

Thinking about it you might be right, my mistake. That's the one.Good for him. Though not sure what you mean in the specs. The base spec is the 250hp ‘hard top’ with steel wheels. Which IMO is the one to go for.
That’s easy. A Porsche 911s fully loaded. No need for a fancy model as there is a bit more to go wrong. That car would easily last a lifetime.
