He had all the ability to go down as one of the all time greats, of any team in any generation. He kept too much back for himself, what an unfulfilled career. If he was arsed he could have dominated any game he wanted

82 goals, I didn’t realise he got that many. I notice there was no reference by the commentator when he hit number 50 which is unusual. He had everything, power, skill, grace, a great eye for goal and an ability to power through a crowded defence culminating in never to be forgotten goals like the fourth against Aston Villa.
