You knew it was coming: City can't buy team spirit

'infact when did they last win something?'

A bit rich lad eh? Win a cup and you're now Real Madrid of the 60's.
the clue, believe it or not is in the question
i don't see him mentioning madrid at all

but a typical response from a chip on the shoulder, condescending, blue nose scouse

how's that condescending?

He said 'when was the last time Everton won something?'

So I thought - hang one lad, you've won one trophy in a generation and he starts giving it out like youve won the Eurpoean cup 5 years running - and thats were Madrid came in.

Sorry for not living up to your stereotype of having a bag of Mcains on my shoulder. Keep on keeping on.
i'm not going to argue with your idiotic assertions as i've found that when you try to confront an idiot they always win as they have the greater experience of idiocy

It's ridiculous when they come out with this team spirit nonsense. Maybe the beginning of last year we played as individuals but not now.

I wouldn't take anything from Everton. Our first team squad is amongst the best in the world, our manager is excellent, our academy is being built to be the best in the world and had already produced the likes of Richards and SWP. And now contains some of the most promising youngsters around.

Then we get to the board. We have the best owner in the world. No question about it. He has given us some of the best players in the world and has enabled us to challenge at the highest level whilst keeping the fans at the clubs heart. And we benefit from having the beat chairman around in Khaldoon, he has worked so hard to get us to reach this phase.

So if they beat us tomorrow, they'll act like they've won a cup final like they always do against us. But they'll still have the banks knocking come Monday morning.

Or he could keep his fucking mouth shut! It's the same old recycled bollox the ignorant continually spout. Your club has fuck all in common with ours and your future looks bleaker by the second. Whatever you or he thinks your club is nothing. Where is your team spirit when you play the rags? As I have told you before, if your team can only raise their game twice a season then they are cheating you.

As I have told you before we raise it more than twice a season against City - otherwise we wouldny finisg in the top 6 or 7 every year. He probably should have kept his mouth shut, but he said a few words in a local rag about team spirit, Big hook. Get over it breadman.

Although, I'll give you his bit about people learning about our clubs as a model for how a club should be run is utter drivvle.
Top 6 or 7, really? I don't see the need to comment on another team. And, just where does this lack of team spirit come from. Hopefully you'll be relegated or better still go bust, then we won't have to endure your shite team or you.

Bitter bread man - last 7 years - 4,11, 6, 5, 5, 8, 7 - now 6th. So 6 or 7 was about right.

You may not have to endure me - or me have to endure you - but you will always have to play Everton. We dont get relegated. Its what we do.

you wouldn't be able to afford the bribe now

Had many a good day at Goodison Park with some scouse mates. Don`t mind them and don`t get the hatred aspect. You did amazingly well to get what you did for Lescott!! Good player but not worth what we paid you. Barkley looks a player.

agreed - 20 million plus for a very good (but not great) player helped us out. In hindsight you got a top player and we got cash that we obviosuly needed.

Barkley's been around for a few years and we've all known about him - he broked his leg last year and had a year out - but he looks top top notch. Only early days but the frightening thing is we know that - at the minute - no matter how good he is, how much he wants to stay or how much we want to keep him........a big bid from you, the other mancs or Chelsea and that would be it. Gone. Shyte but true.

-- Fri Sep 23, 2011 10:35 pm --

exactly. Agueros monthly wages is more than Everton have spent in any transfers in the past 2 and half years.

Well soon enough a tramp on the street will be able to say the same.
