I’d go pretty much full strength, with the only exception being to rest Rodri and see whether Kovacic (or Phillips) can make a better fist of that role with Stones next to them.

—————Ederson———-
—Akanji—Dias—Gvardiol—
——Stones—Kovacic/Phillips
Doku-Bernardo—Foden—Grealish
———-——-Alvarez——

Go hard, and aim to get Bernardo, Stones and one or two others off as early as possible
(Matron)

Reckon he will play them both , he wants to qualify tomorrow and then he will rest players in the last two games

I doubt Pep will rest players against Leipzig. If they beat us, they could still top the group on head-to-head (presuming they win tonight, of course).

He'll go full strength tonight and against RB, then rest players against Red Star if we've finished top of the group.

I think we have enough to beat Young Boys if Haaland/Rodri/Stones/Walker all get a breather, though.

I'd probably go with:

..........Ederson
..Akanji..Ake..Gvardiol
........Lewis..KP
....Nunes.......Kovacic
Foden....Alvarez...Doku

That leaves this team for Chelsea:

...........Ederson
...Walker...Dias...Ake
....Stones.......Godri
............Silva
Foden.....Alvarez....Grealish
.............Haaland

At some Swiss bar in 1898 -“old boys are shit but young boys are much better, what should we name this club?”

Voice from the sky -” ask that hold my beer **** “

Treat any game as easy at your peril, full strength for me.
Totally agree, hopefully get the job done and then make changes if the game is safe.
Pep has 'tinkered' with his teams in the past in domestic comps, but as we are not 100% through (though we would have to fuck up big time not to go through) I doubt he will think about doing this tonight.
