What players would you like to see get 5-10 appearances. It happens every year, 5-10 might be a bit much, but who is ready for the next level?

My picks:

Assulin
Bunn
Suarez

Assulin is an obvious pick. Bunn is probably the most ready as far as professional football is concerned. Although I'm not so certain he will ever be a City squad player. Suarez is the next Silva bar none but he has been coming off the bench for EDS.

Wabara is another one but well just have to wait an see.

I would like Trippier to come back and get a chance, probably a long shot but hey.....

Razuk,Roman,Bunn,Assulin and Rekik probably stand out for me

Well, anyone really but being realistic - Wabara, Razak, and Assulin probably have the best chance this year as none have been loaned out. Assulin is senior to Roman and Suarez so might get promoted earlier and is already in good form for the EDS. If we continue to use this system with two creative midfielders it gives Assulin/Suarez/Roman more hope of a first team chance in the future. Razak already looks to be in the plans but is still very much a fringe player at this point.

I love Harry Bunn (not that way) but the difficulty for him is being a forward when we have four high quality forwards. But the way he cuts in from the left reminds me of David Villa so if Balotelli crocks his knee again there might be a small chance of Bunn getting a Carling Cup game or something as the left sided forward.

I can't see any name not mentioned above getting a chance this season - many like Guidetti are out on loan now anyway. If Clichy or Kolarov get injured, Cunningham might have a chance of making the bench if Mancini hates Bridge so much, lol.

Razak, he gets the best reviews on here

Suarez

Nimely tchuimeni, hes looked sharp and pacy whenever ive seen him play

Assulin, i discovered him on fifa 09/10

Outside of City, I sincerely hope that young Josh McEachran gets his chance at Chelsea.

If the media are teasing one out over Cleverley, I can't wait to see the plaudits when this lad gets a good run in the team.

I just hope to god, that as an Englishman, he doesn't just fall by the wayside and gets eaten up by big money signings.

Him and Wilshere are the future of our national team's midfield.

England are trying to steal Razak away from Ivory Coast so he could be part of that future too if he keeps progressing at such an excellent rate.

Would like to see Abdul Razak do well, and want to see Assulin go out on loan, for someone who at youth level supposedly outshone Messi in Barca's youth until he had injury problems they must have some potential. Would love to see Andrea Mancini doing good for us as well but after watching him in pre-season can't see it happening.

I honestly don't see why Razak won't make it. Especially from what I've seen and heard from back home.

Razak,Roman,Assulin,Suarez,Ibrahim,Wabara,Abu and Bunn
Rekik seems young for a first team break through but at the same time sounds to be progressing fast enough for a first team call up this year or next, could be a better option than Coates would've been eventually. No reason why a fit Assulin couldn't be perfect Silva/Nasri cover, same with Razak and Toure/De Jong. We have so much quality..

Well, fortunately (in a sense), you'd have to be a notable talent to break through into our first team from the academy. I, personally, think Razak will get some games. Whether he can be a prominent first team starter in the future, we'll just have to wait and see. Our squad is that good now.

It matters now how good our squad is /now/ because its the future that will dictate his his spot.

Everyone thinks he will be a prominent first team starter. England trying to nab him up like they did with Hargreaves.

How much of Abdul have you actually seen?

Well, I'll concede that you're probably going to cite this as my downfall but I've seen all pre-season and a few EDS highlights and all the usuals....

Razak is only 18 and more advanced in his progress than almost everyone older than him below first team level. He is what we hoped Abdi Ibrahim would be during his cameo the season before last, but while Ibrahim's progress has stalled, Razak's hasn't and that is why Liverpool and others are sniffing as his contract only has a year left. And of course England want him for the U21 setup.
