Fernando not been accepted by the Portuguese Football Federation to play for them. No World Cup for him on this basis. Based on that I would favour him as an option, price should stay low and will be able to give some cover into another gruelling season - Fernandinho, Yaya, Silva, Zabba all in for another set of high pressure games a month after the World Cup.

GK: Plenty in the ranks. HART is #1.

LB: Luke Shaw would be a fantastic addition. Aleks is quality and getting better. Clichy isn't bad - but I think there is better.

CB: Stones from Everton would bolster our ranks massively. Kompany and Nastastic, with Demichaelis make good options.

RB: Pablo's place is hard, even for Richards. I fear Micah needs to try pastures new, and I rate the lad greatly. His injuries have set him back.

Milner, Yaya, Ferdnandino, Silva, Jesus... maybe we need some future in there pronto.
Midfield: James Ward-Prowse and Lallana would be worthy of a signing.

Up top: Beast will come back strong, Edin and Sergio. Jovetic is one for the future.
Romelu Menama Lukaku would add depth but we're pretty sorted in this field.

I'd argue quite strongly to graduate two reserve players immediately. Give them a fringe role, or drop one in at left back and develop them. There are a few names in there, I can't remember them. Time to blood the ranks.

Yeah could work out. Zabaleta and shaw bombing forward while fernando sits back to make a 3 at the back formation. Aguero, jovetic and silva running them ragged while yaya and fernandinho provide a box to box threat. I like this team.

Will be interesting to see if we continue with 2 strikers or have a change.
Even if we do stick with 2, surely 2 of them will be unhappy unless someone leaves.
