Tevez always seems confident...doesn't mean he should take it.

I'd rather see Denis Suarez take a penalty a thousand times before Sinclair.

I'll tell why:

Sinclair for all his Swansea pens, if you see the vid of him and Balo taking penalty kick
practice you can see one difference: Balotelli sneaks a peek at the ball. Sinclair sneaks a peek at the keeper.

From what I've seen of Suarez, he sneaks a peek at the ball, not the keeper. (every player should do that. Why don't they?)

I don't know if he's ever missed for the City(v. LA Galaxy), City EDS or Spain youth squads. Not sure. Never seen a miss.

Neither is likely to play.

So, it's moot.

The key to the way Hart takes them is that it appears he just pretends he's taking a goal kick. The amount of force and elevation that goes into one of them, and the amount he practices them, means that the keeper doesn't stand much of a chance.

Look at his posture as he hits this, it's not your usual striker's style kick.

Tevez, whilst not the best PK taker, would be best suited to a penalty shoot-out situation, simply because he has the right idea. Just hit the fucker. Too many penalty takers try to over think in shoot-out situations.

I may be wrong about Suarez. (but he's pretty good at pens!)

But Mario, by way of his technique knows where the goalkeeper is going and he kicks it the other way. (other players look at the ball, kick the ball. Balotelli has the advantage)

(The only GK to guess right on Mario and have a chance was Joe Hart England v. Italy but the ball was too well placed. )

Mario actually kindly pointed out where he was going to put the ball and he still put it there. That's beyond confidence to do that in a competitive international match. It's the sort of show-off thing you might imagine in training but an international match... He seems unshakeable from the spot.

To be honest I hadn't considered Milner, so swap him for the big lad.

Can see your point but I honestly think he would step up and score in an FA Cup Semi, I dont think it will go to pens to be honest, if it stays dry the Wembley pitch is perfect for City's game.. 3 - 1 City for me, got the derby score right so ya never know??

You cheeky get ! I'm left footed and my penalty record was exemplary! Two saved out of about 60 . Both in shoot-outs. Tired legs !
