I didn't say that was a basis for picking 5 takers . You asked how could 3 strikers conceivably be on the pitch at the end. I offered a scenario where it could happen. P.S. answering your own question on behalf of someone else, is a very annoying trait. Comprende ? No, didn't think so . See what I mean ?

He smashed one in LA as well and also took one in the semi final of the youth UEFA youth thingy

Joe Hart must play because if it does go to penalties which I reckon it will, Joe has recently saved two very high profile pens vs Brazil and Liverpool so I am sure he will be feeling very confident.

Milner is a great penalty taker so he'd be first on my list. Otherwise I think Tevez, Aguero, Barry and Pantillimon/Hart because I like it when keepers score.

Don't forget Pants saved a Rooney pen last season in the FA Cup, shame they scored from the rebound, but he still saved it.

Milner also obviously

But after that, it gets a bit flaky. I'd go with:

Tevez (crap at pens really, but is a big game player).
Barry
Kolarov, if playing which hopefully he won't be

Nasri and Silva shouldn't be allowed near the ball. Yaya balloons it too often to be trusted.
 
everyone saying serg,including me,but is he fit enough to go from start to penalties? I think he will either start and go off later or come on later in case of penalties.Bobby has a crucial choice to make if as he says today he is not fully fit.wembly is big old pitch.I am reasonably confident it wont go beyond 90mins if he and silva are on from the start
