in our local bar last night, walked up to the bar for some beers and the barman offered me a taste of his dinner, I thought it was pork from the look of it, it tasted quite nice too, IGUANA, it turned out to be! apparently today I will be trying armadillo!

Beef cheek is just so good.

It needs to be cooked on a low heat for around 3 hours but the result is worth waiting for.

How can anyone not love braising steak ? Slow cooked in the crock pot all day with veg, onions and lovely mash potato and a side of picked red cabbage ! Perfect
