I know badgers will fight their corner; they can be vicious. But I'd guess that if he saw a trio of foxes, he'd want to get out of there. 1 on 1, yeah; they may stand their ground. 3 on 1? Not so sure about that. They're also very nervous about human contact. You can't blame them when you see what some humans do to them.
