The food rule at Ewing Towers, Monday to Friday, is fish one day, meat t'other! Occasionally, for a bit of devilment, we might have a frittata, just to remind me of Dvid Silva, midweek! Saturday 'n Sunday there are no rules. What happens if you are in the butchers on a Monday and see a nice steak. Mmmm...I'd love that for my tea, oh wait...that's Thursday.
Is it fish on Friday?
Roast only on a Sunday?
Why have food rules?
No and none of them nissin noodles shite either :-)So, pot noodle then!
My butcher doesn’t open on a Monday. What happens if you are in the butchers on a Monday and see a nice steak. Mmmm...I'd love that for my tea, oh wait...that's Thursday.

I'm having buttered jerseys later with Haggis and a fried egg.I could eat a plate of well salted Jersey Royals swimming in butter accompanied by broad beans.
Nowt else.
Just them.
Having a roast on any day other than a Sunday would be weirder, I think.
I meant more the full works, roast potatoes, parsnips, Yorkshire puddings etc. No way I could be arsed making, or even eating that, midweek. You've never chucked a chicken in the oven on a weekday? Minimal effort, provides plenty of left overs for sandwiches/wraps for lunch or a curry/risotto for dinner the next day.
Are you sure you read the thread title?......I think there is a "What do you do on a night out?" thread somewhere...:o)Mince and tatties with doughboys
Give me the broad beans on their own, absolutely love em. Also enjoy cooking a nice big bowl of sprouts, bit of butter and pepper and mmmmmmmmmmmm.I could eat a plate of well salted Jersey Royals swimming in butter accompanied by broad beans.

Not at all. The only thing weird about that is the use of the word “brunch”.I have a weird habit of eating last night’s left overs for brunch. My mid morning breakfast this week has included chicken and chickpea curry with chapattis, and cauliflower cheese with bacon, tomatoes and croutons.
Do I need help?
