The horror series "Thriller" in the early 60s presented by Boris Karloff was pretty frightening. Stephen King declared it the very best horror fix ever. Boris also appeared in several of the episodes. The over-praised Twilight Zone wasn't a patch on this as most episodes were whimsical/non-scary. Also the western series "Maverick" starring James Garner was pretty good too. Z Cars the original gritty police drama also had its moments .

The Munsters Casey Jones Zorro Laurel and Hardy shorts.

I used to love all these when I was a kid, Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, King of the rocket men and many more.

Always confused me that flash and buck was the same bloke. Buster Crabtree I think.
