Your favourite programme when you were a kid?

To be honest that's about as much as I remember. I know it was my favourite of those pre swap shop Saturday morning programmes but if I saw it now the bad dubbing would probably make me cringe.
Another programme I loved was on Saturday evenings can't remember what it was called but remember it started with a disgraced US cavalry officer having his sword broken, mentioned this to others and no one else seems to remember it.
Branded with Chuck Connor.
What do you do when you're branded,
when you know you're a man?

Didn't have much of a choice when I were a lad. The best we could manage was a 9" TV screen showing black and white programmes only. BBC and ITV were the only channels.
Monday: Picture Book
Tuesday: Andy Pandy
Wednesday: Bill and Ben, the Flowerpot Men
Thursday: Rag, Tag and Bobtail
Friday: The Woodentops

That was it - Listen with Mother.

You lot were spoiled!
Tales of the riverbank was in there somewhere too.
