City 4 WBA 0 - 1954
I was nearly 10 years old and went to the game on my own.
Sat on one of the steel crush barriers in the scoreboard end, near to the side of the main stand.
Sold the programme on eBay about 5 years ago.

26th November 1994

think it was the first home game after the 5-0 defeat at OT and it was only a fiver in !!

first game was a 1-0 home win against Chelsea in 1972. Rodney Marsh's debut, a packed Maine Road, clear at the top of the league and I had 2 packets of Jaffa Cakes (they were only small mind!). In fact my first 5 games were all City home wins and in those days we were formidable and entertaining at home.

1980-81, Southampton home. 3-0 win, goals from Gerald Gow, Kevin Reeves and David Bennett.
Think it was one of Kevin Keegans first games for Southampton from memory. Was 7 at the time, had a wagon wheel and hot bovril to celebrate.
