Do you have a set routine before & after the match? Even if you don't attend matches do you have a routine?

Mine currently goes...Meet for a pint in Fringe Bar...quick scran in the Marble Arch...couple of cans of Tyskie from the offie for the walk to the ground...Usually arrive 5 minutes before kickoff...Half time pint...couple of cans from Dave's Offie for the walk back...then a few in the NQ

We walk EXACTLY the same route without fail...call it superstition

What's yours?

I watch at home and when the team is announced i need the loo(too much info i know lol)

I have to put COME ON BLUEBOYS in the match thread before kick off,if it's late opening i get really annoyed

Always watch the game in bed never in a chair

I'm not superstitous for anything else in life, just city games

Other than the case of beer before, under and after the game?

And then of course, got to wear a City shirt throughout the game.

i usually set the alarm to wake up and watch the math while i have breakfast ( i live in southamerica so time is different)

Pick up my dad at 1.30 for a 3pm game. Arrive at ground about 1.50 and park on Briscoe Lane. Walk up Joe Mercer way, walk round the side of the main entrance. Go to the chippy opposite the south stand, go into the ground about 2.25, read programme until about 2.45. Stand up and soak it all in.

Repeat same process every home game, apart from the first and last home games of the season we do a full lap of the ground and spend a few minutes talking to Big Mal and Foe.

Assuming its a 3:00pm kick off.

Mate picks me up at 12.
Pick up a maccys
Get to mary D's for 13:00
2/3/4 pints in there
Walk to the ground for 14:30
Quick pint in the concourse
Then I'm just about ready to make my way to 111 and embrace the lovely morons in there

usually go in monroes in manchester before the game then head down to mary ds, then in the ground, sometimes go in the chippy near mary d's swell

I don't have a "set" routine... Depends on who we're playing, kick off times, and who I meet up with/see on the way there etc etc....

But I now tend to get on the Tram @ Bury, either walking into Bury centre or drive/get a lift off family/friends... Switchover at Picc. Gardens to the Etihad Campus tram, and if there's space I'll nip into the Star Bar for a bevvy, or walk around to Mary D's.
I usually eat at home before matches but if I want a scran I've been nipping into this Burrito Bar recently (nice food for the tram journey)

So a few beers either in star bar/Mary D's or on the concourse then 15mins before the match walk down to my seat.

After the match - either go to star bar and have a drink or leave a little early and wait in line like a caged animal for the next tram.

As soon as I get home I'm looking for a download link as I've usually forgot everything about the match and watch the whole match again the next day (whilst Sober)

Away Matches - if I'm watching from home I'm usually finding a decent stream - no drinkies, just glued to the screen.
if I have a ticket then I'm too intoxicated to even think about a routine. Wouldn't even know my own name.

in this order for home games.

get up, shower (talkshite on the radio), find cleanest city shirt, have breakfast, have a cheeky can (sometimes a cheeky smoke), meet dad, travel, go townley, 3 pints of stella (strongbow if hungover) check twitter for teams, get in the stadium 20 mins before kick off, sat in my seat 10 mins to go start, watch entire match till final whistle (never leave early) travel home, smoke drink eat, MOTD.

For a 3 pm kick off its 12:53 train from Disley into mcr piccadilly, head straight to the Waldorf for a couple of lagers with a few of the lads, taxi up to Mary D's for a quick pint before getting into SSL3 for about 2:55, rarely get a pint at half time due to the que's ,at full time head over to Mary's to meet the lads n a couple more beers before setting off down town , couple of hours arnd NQ before the last train back to Disley at 10:50, ring mrs and get her to order donner meet n chips n a garlic bread wiv cheese for wen i arrive home around 11:45, bang motd on while scoffing , bed.

Leave work, drive to game. Grab pudding, chips peas and gravy and a bottle of water from chippy next to Mary D's then straight into stadium. Watch first half. Spend half time on Bluemoon laughing at match day thread. Watch second half then dart off on final whistle to get back to work. Jobs a good'un.

Train to Manc
Couple of pints in Waldorf
Walk to ground
Pie and pint before K.O
Spend 90 mins sighing at cunts taking selfies.

Wake up at the CFA, head down for some breakfast and light training, wait to see if the gaffer has picked me in the starting eleven, text Benjamin that Im starting again....

I wish !!!!!
