I'd argue that all things considered City's record in the Champions League from 2017 to 2022 is better than a lot people give the club credit for.

We could have won in 21 vs Chelsea.

We could have won in 22 if Cancelo didn't fuck up the offside trap.

We did win in 23.

We could have won in 24 if we hadn't missed that open goal.

Could have done 4 in a row in the CL too.

But its a coulda been, woulda been.. but didn't! It is what it is.. a bitter pill for many and it won't be easy to get back to those heights. Maybe with a younger core.
