I am unable to start a new post but part of my dream derby scenario (apart from the obvious 10-0, tevez all 10, golden boot etc...) would be what happens off the pitch.
So far this season at the swamp we've had the disgraceful antics of the rags on more than a few occassions:
1. Coin hitting Garrido
2. Fan on pitch (Nice one Bellers!!!)
3. Missiles thrown at Bellers (which subsequently led to their opener and most importnat goal in the semi)
What I wish for more than anything is that we as a crowd are intimidating, loud and proud, but represent our club in the correct manner. No missiles etc.... = no excuses for the press, Baconhead or anyone else to demand sanctions to be taken against the club - and we're talking as serious as points deductions here - 'But we won't be deducted points, United weren't!' I hear you say..... but since when has consistency been part of the FA's agenda? We've already seen since the takeover retrospective action on SWP, Adebayor (fast tracked to be banned for the derby!) when other far more serious challenges (Gerrard etc...) have gone unpunished.
What I'd love is for fans to get down early and instead of meandering around the concourses, get into the stands and make it an absolute cauldron of blue noise and intimidation, imagine the stadium being packed as the players come to do their warm up? No PA, turn it off, let the crowd do the singing before the game. When the teams are read out, instead of flying through the rags, read them slowly, gives us a chance to really get the boos in......
That would be worth a goal start for me (not that I think we will need it on current form)
Be loud, be proud, be blue. Our time is coming...............
