Blackburn as well? They’re the only club still in existence to win three FA Cups in a row, they’ve won 6 FA Cups and 3 league titles (that’s better than Leeds).

Or Huddersfield? 3 League titles and an FA Cup is the same as Leeds but they’re one of only for clubs to win three leagues in a row

You make a good argument and ultimately football clubs are judged on success but I suppose I measure these things by the size of fan base. The 4 teams I mentioned have big stadiums and huge support although admittedly a lack of recent success.

Top 25 most successful clubs in English football compiled this year: https://sillyseason.com/list/most-successful-english-football-clubs-69242/

Ipswich are a surprise omission with 3 major trophies, all the others have a minimum of four.

Derby and Forest wouldn't even have made the list at all without Brian Clough.

Man City
West Ham
Newcastle
Sunderland
Aston Villa (Hate em all you want but they are the biggest club in the Midlands I imagine)
Portsmouth
Southampton
Leeds (hate em but they deserve to be in the first division)
Blackburn
Nottingham Forest
Sheffield Wednesday
Everton
Liverpool (despise them but can't not include them)
Man United (see Liverpool)
Fulham (fuck Chelsea)
Leicester
Norwich
Derby County
Swansea (sole Welsh representative)
AFC Wimbledon (would be cool to have a fan owned club in the top division)

Fuck Arsenal, they cheated their way in to First Division anyway.
