Hughes put out the best team I've seen all season against the tin-pot nothing club that are the pie eaters of wigan, and it can't be a coincidence that we defended better when Dunne got sent off. If you could choose a starting 11 from the players we have who would they be? Mine would be...

Keeper: Joe Hart
Left Back: Wayne Bridge
Center Half: Micah Richards
Center Half: Vincent Kompany
Right Back: Pablo Zabaleta
Defensive Mid: Nigel De Jong
Attacking Central Mid: Stephen "Superman" Ireland
Right Wing: Shaun Wright-Phillips
Left Wing: Elano/Martin Petrov(Rather have Petrov if he was fit)
Left Forward: Robinho
Right Forward: Craig Bellamy

Not many will disagree with that on the current squad.

A good starting 11 but we could do with a keeper and a 20 goal a season forward before the end of the deadline IMO.

Welcome to the mad mad world of Bluemoon, you get used to it after a bit, trouble is when you can't sleep at night because some ITK has come up with a player you really want to play at the club and then it turns out to be a WUM.

Typical city really.

If this is Wednesday and no new players signed in time I would agree with the above except Elano for Ireland. In my view Elano did enough against the pie eaters to retain his place (IMO best game all season). Ireland would be on the bench.

Ignore the majority of it m8... 99.9% is bollocks anyway.

It's a lively board, so I suppose you have to put up with the ITK/WUM.
