Hate the man with a passion, however last season he took a team with a piss poor midfield and a weak defence and pushed us to the last seconds of the season. Year after year he manages to keep the rags towards the top of the league, by what means he does this is questionable (Refs & brown envelops of used £20's.......) but a managers job is to get results and he does this on a consistent basis so in terms of results it can't be argued........ but in terms of morals very questionable!

So far!

Can't argue. Most neutrals will have him as the best ever manager in English football. Much as I hate him you can't ignore his stats.

What do I think about Ferguson? Not much. He's a hell of a football manager undeniably keeping United flying high with such a poor team and with all that debt. He also did brilliantly north of the border by breaking the 'Old Firm' monopoly. He's a **** of a man though and many United fans are seeing him as part of the Glazer problem, with his supporting comments about them as great owners.

we know all that but to be fair the question was what do you think of him as a manager, that he's the best ever can not be in doubt.

Nice to see some honesty. He is the greatest ever manager in my life time, his trophy cabinet proves that , if he's ever charged with corruption and other dodgy dealings then my opinion of him might change, as for personality ... I couldn't care less if he's a nice guy or a c@nt.

Bullshit,it took Jock Stein 2 months to win his 1st trophy with Celtic,the Scottish Cup in 1965.
It took him 2 years to become the 1st British winners of the European Cup.Also winning the clubs 1st ever treble. (1967)
Also became the 1st manager in history to win all competitions entered.

Scraped it on goal difference last season and hardly looking spectacular this season. Embarrassing.

Winning a League title in whatever way, is not embarrassing. Here's a list of things that are embarrassing though:

1. Losing 6-1 at home to your nearest rivals
2. Blowing an 8 point lead, with 6 games to go.
3. Having T-shirts printed in April, celebrating a League success when there were still games to be played, and it wasn't decided yet.
4. Losing to your title rivals (again) in a crucial match, where a victory can all but give you the title, and not registering one shot on target, or mustering up any meaningful attack.
5. Going 4-2 up at home but not winning, against a team with nothing to play for, and was on a downer after losing an FA Cup semi, to their most hated rivals.
6. Having one hand on the title for 15 seconds, breaking into celebration, then having it snatched away, while getting taunted by the opposition fans.
