As the decade is coming to a close and there are no more big blockbusters expected this year (apart from Avatar) what do you think are the best films of this decade

I'll start
1.lord of the rings trilogy
2.dark knight
3.gladiator
4.the departed
5.inglorious basterds
6.oldboy
7.watchmen
8.300
9.28 days later
10.sin city
Other films would be;equilibrium, gran Torino, the fountain, v for vendetta, there will be blood, crash, no country for old men, slumdog millionaire and children of men

v for vendetta...
Ah; you must be the other V for Vendetta fan then!! I enjoyed that film, although it got hammered by the critics. Fair enough; Steven Rea and Natalie Portman's accents are bizarre, but it is a thought provoking film. Big brother, the all powerful state with a demagogue at the head of it. Interesting film.

Why?! What is there to critically hammer? Nevermind, the critics have panned some cracking films in the past.
