Not sure about the term, hero's, but one person who has really struck a chord with me of late is the PC unfortunate enough to bump into Raoul Moat. David Rathband is it? He's just done that walk to raise charity, and watching the footage he looks happy, full of life and determined. If I was in that position in such a needless way, I don't know if i'd be any of those things so soon. Full on respect to that man.

Others include Spiderman and Superman ;-)

Ryan Tedder (the guy at the front) - OneRepublic, lead singer.

Alice Glass - Crystal Castles, lead singer.

Ross Geller - 'Friends', character.

James Dean-Teen icon of the late 60,s Looked the part and spoke for the youth of the day through the media of films.
David Bowie-Again visually and artistically magnetic and used the power of music to communicate his thoughts.
Jimmy Reid-Never forgets his, A Rat race is for Rats. We’re not rats, speech 1972.

Leonardo_da_Vinci.jpg

Leonardo Da Vinci - Polymath genius, the very definition itself. Artist, inventor, Mathematician, Engineer... Anything and everything. I can even say anything else about Da Vinci, possibly the most brilliant man who's ever lived! Reality supersedes fiction.

nelson-mandela.jpg

Nelson Mandela - The greatest man alive. His life was a constant battle and struggle yet he came out as the most humble, loving and forgiving man. The epitome of character, integrity and decency. Anyone who dismisses him doesn't know enough about his life and actions.

karl-marx.jpg

Karl Marx - A revolutionary humanitarian with a brilliant mind. At a time when capitalism exploited workers he was the one who spoke against it the clearest. Him and others at the time made a huge difference to workers all over the world. Paving the way for unions and true worker rights, working hours and countless other improvements. Sadly global corporations are still exploiting the workers but perhaps one day... (Yes I'm a Marxist, not a communist)
