Your Top 5 American Comedy Series

I can't pick 5 (I couldn't even give a definitive of my 5 greatest British either), but it'd be a royal rumble between:

Bilko
Cheers
Curb Your Enthuiasm
Arrested Development
Better Off Ted
Eastbound and Down
30 Rock
Taxi
Frasier
Family Guy
South Park
Malcolm in the Middle
My Name Is Earl
Raising Hope
That 70s Show

Seinfeld, 30 Rock for that perfect big city stuff

CYE for plots

M+Children for a classic sit-com gone rotten

Soap and Gary Shandling's stuff (in it's day)

Two and a Half Men is pretty slick too, but a bit West-Coast compared to the best, which is usually NYC-based, according to me.

Friends is devil jism. Frazier is not a comedy, unless you count the accents (his dad's from Stockport, you know).

Better Off Ted
Boston Legal (Not really a comedy, but so funny in parts)
3rd Rock From The Sun
Malcolm In The Middle
American Dad

5. South Park
4. The Boondocks
3. That 70s Show
2. King of Queens
1. Parks and Recreation

Honorable mentions:
Everybody Loves Raymond, Cheers, The Three Stooges,
Community, Friends, Chappelle's Show

I've tried to watch the King of Queens, but I get 5 minutes into an episode and think "This is fucking shit. And a bit cringeworthy."

I always thought Comedy Central showed Two and a Half Men, King of Queens and Frasier ad nauseum because they were cheap, but a straw poll on this thread seems to show that people actually like them. Every day's a school day.
