Hendrix appearing on a lot of lists.

Genius. Easy for kids to hear him nowadays, and think, 'Yeah, he's good/cool', whatever, but you really have to imagine what it must have been like to see and hear someone doing those things with an electric guitar that way, for the VERY FIRST TIME. Page, Beck, Clapton, E Van Halen, Vai, all great, but he started it all really......Awesome stuff.

spot on. even if jimi appeared now it would blow people away playing like that. to do this in the 60's must have been mind blowing.changed the way guitar was to be played forever.
