Breaking the transfer record for Steve Daley!

Especially when we could have got Bryan Robson from West Brom for that kind of money

Plenty I remember and agree with already posted but this is one that sums (or summed) us up perfectly at the time, I wasn't even shocked it happened stood there watching in the Kippax.

1-Fowler missing the penalty
2-Losing to Chesterfield in the cup after being 1-0 up
3-Sven's last league game
4-The signing of Matias Vuoso really summed us up at the time
5-Vassell missing the penalty against the scum was just awful

Being 5-0 up at half time away at Burnley only to be shitting it 2nd half due to the rain and them trying to get the game called off due to puddles on the pitch is the most recent typical city for me

Having a multi billionaire owner who's not shy at paying top dollar for top players then make Cahill a transfer target.

Has our multi billionaire owner stated that Cahill is a transfer target?

Typical fans believing what they read in the gutter press!!!

-- Thu May 26, 2011 2:12 pm --

Having a camera crew follow us for a season....

1). Only for us to fall short in the dying seconds of a 2nd leg semi-final at the Swamp

2). Then fail in the dying embers of a home game against the Spuds with the Champions League qualification awaiting the winners....

Both in the same season. Typical City

1. losing the last match at maine road to bastard southampton.
2. fowler's penalty miss against boro to get us into europe.
3. city feeling the 'need' to go 2-0 down to gillingham, just about ensuring they take 10 years off my life before they make me happy.
4. celebrating on the pitch v birmingham before we realised that we might still not go up.
5.singing "2-0 up and you fucked it up" to the rags about galatasaray during a derby where we went 2-0 up and fucked it up.

1. Throwing a 3-0 lead away against Bournemouth, meaning a nerve jangling 90 minutes against Bradford City in the late 80's

2. Kevin Horlock scoring against Gillingham, when all of us thought it was just a consolation goal.

3. Throwing a 3-1 lead at home against the rags after Colin Hendry scored the third. We even had to kick one off the line.

4. The Gillingham play off ticket allocation, and we think the ticket office is bad now. That was the worst ever.

5. Steve Lomas deliberately wasting time at the corner flag when we were drawing 2-2 with Liverpool, when we needed a WIN to stay up. Unbelievable.

Am I only restricted to 5! lol.

Typical fans thinking everything printed in the press is bullshit.

Apologies for any repeats:

1) Tommy H scoring for City, Tommy hutch scoring for Spuds

2) Jamie Pollock og

3) Smashing the rags 5-1 with a team of under dogs

4) Losing to Cardiff, missing a pen in the process

5) 3-0 down, 10 men on the pitch, beating Spuds 4-3
