I have to think some more but this would vaguely resemble my list except you don't have Spinal Tap -- especially Midnight Run which tops my list of most underrated films ever.
I love Spinal Tap, but it didn't invent the mockumentary. It is objectively one of the funniest films ever made. That's not an opinion. It's a fact. It re-invented comedy. It created the mockumentary. A good number of films on your lists wouldn't be here without it. It's still ridiculously hilarious today.

Monty Python did it in the 60s, and they weren't the first.
And Best in Show, which is also genius! AND Sleeper (the funniest Woody Allen movie I think, though I like Annie Hall better as a film). AND Election, which is another great one! Well done.Spinal Tap ;)
Sleeper
Election
I’m Alright Jack
Life of Brian

I don’t think I ever laughed any louder in a theater than at There’s Something About Mary, except for the first half hour of the South Park movie, which nearly made me throw up I laughed so hard.Raising Arizona
Dumb & Dumber
There's something about Mary
Planes, Trains & Automobiles
Three Amigos
Big ( Probably not the funniest but was the first film I ever went to see )
Not in long format mate!!! Only in a sketch. And not with basically all ad libs, which makes it even better.
