As it’s popped up, yes, spinal tap - check out the follow up album “break like the wind”(!) and for those that don’t know already the bassist Derek Smalls is Ned Flanders

But as it’s not been mentioned Kentucky Fried Movie is a cracking chuckle fest.

Special mention to Pippi Longstocking the original Swedish feature film where she invents a new word “spunk” - try watching that On a Sunday afternoon with your 10 year old daughter (BBC circa 1990)

I watched this a few weeks ago and hadn’t seen it in many years. There are some really, really great bits in it. “In a row???”, “About the biggest pair you’ve ever seen, dingleberry!”, the Happy Scrappy Pup video ordering scene and the Berserker lyrics all spring to mind. My favo(u)rite Kevin Smith film is still Dogma, but Clerks was quite a debut.
