Last nights result had me thinking, my worst City memory caused me to hate Spurs more than any other team.

This feeling goes back to the '81 cup final and the loss to Spurs in the replay.

Being 11 and going to Wembley for the first time, with my Dad and Grandfather who had encouraged me to support City for as long as I can remember.

The disappointment of not going to the first game, only to be replaced by sheer joy by getting tickets to the replay, with the memory of Paul Powers wonderful free kick against Ipswich fresh in my mind from semi when my Dad held me up behind the goal to see it hit the back of the net.

Only to be shattered by the result and the endless repeats of bloody Ricky Villa's goal every year since.

any more out there....

I think it has to be the game against Luton that saw us relegated, when that twat David Pleat went skipping across the hallowed turf. If I could have got my hands on him, I think I'd have throttled him.

can't rememeber which game but it was about 6 years ago now, might have been fulham. to see city fans fighting amongst each other, nearly broke my heart. just everything about it was wrong, because city is like a family regardless of the situation table wise our fans are the best, and to see something like that as a youngster was not good. it was kinda like realising father christmas.... well you know. This seasons 4-3 defeat at the swamp.

Crushed me, I was dead inside for about a week, I didnt even go to school for the first day!
