That is bollocks. You can guarantee a lot more that 9% of people near the swamp support the scum.

And 65% of people near wigans ground...? Complete bollocks, have you seen their attendances??
Not 9% of M32 residents are united fans, 9% of united fans (in UK) are M32 residents.

But Old Trafford is M16.

this is from the m.e.ns survey.

I'm not sure how much I'd trust that, seeing as they can't even crunch their own numbers properly.

In the section comparing Wigan and Liverpool average costs they say the average Wigan fan can get two seasons for the price of one Liverpool season, but that is only referring to the cost of the ticket and not including the petrol prices, which is the whole point. In reality an average Wigan fan pays £440 for petrol and a season ticket, while a dipper would pay £1523 for the same. So that works out at 3 seasons for a Wigan supporter (with £200 change) compared to a Liverpool fan.

Look lads, it's true, Manchester is Red.

I wish they would define 'support'. I suspect at least 90% of United 'supporters' couldn't find Old Trafford if they were put on a 263 bus. What they mean by 'support' seems to be 'feels vaguely pleased if the 'supported' team wins as it enables the crowing function.'

No chance the north east is full of that much scum.

They may call us the Stockports, but there really are loads of rags in Stockport. Years ago, I remember Offerton, Hazel Grove, Bredbury, Cheadle Hulme, Reddish and Romiley were all full of blues, but nowadays, there seems to be far too many rags, still more blues, but too many rags.

I reckon there's more rags in all those places. My school in Reddish was 70/30 rag and that was pre-Sky rag success.

What a load of bollocks. Belford in Northumberland has a Newcastle postcode, it's 49 miles away.

I don't think I'll bother listing the clubs that are within 49 miles of The Etihad, suffice to say that the area encompases Blackpool, Skipton, Leeds, Sheffield, Stoke and Liverpool.

I'm 6.5 miles from The Etihad, yet not in a Manchester postcode, you can be 9.5 miles from the DW stadium and still be in a Wigan postcode.

Wigan WN is about twice the area of North London N, home of The Emirates Stadium.

A bit of a pointless exercise, unless they put a distance on it.
