Ha, sorry. It wasn't meant to come across funereal, I was just referring to him in the past tense because he's no longer a City player.

A lovely tribute about a super pro and great servant to our club. I still think we could have done with him at some point this season.
You sum it up perfectly when you say we wish him well diespite having no great love for the club he is joining.

With a heavy heart we see Gareth Barry leave City. Gareth Barry, midfield stalwart, all round good guy, Thanks and best wishes.

Thank god he is gone we need to be more dynamic in European games on a whole. Also in some of the bigger games at times he was shown up. He done well at the club and I was shocked to see him last for as long as he did. Different manager different style of play and different players.
