Can't say I noticed her when she was at West Ham so it's safe to say I was a little underwhelmed when we signed her as a replacement for Walsh. How wrong I was. Turned out to be one of our better signings over the last few years so this is fantastic news. Though like @Bigga, I would prefer her playing a little further forward and sign a proper DM.
Just imagine if we'd have managed to keep either Walsh or Stanway. What a trio that would've been.Roord has been a top signing for us playing just in front giving an additional goal threat. However it feels like we are maybe one midfielder short in there, but Yui's shown she's capable wherever she plays - basically because she wants the ball and has quality. If a top 6 becomes available and we can get her then great - if another top 8 comes up who we can get, that's fine too.
