A couple of years ago, I remember saying to a mate that much as I love Zabaleta's style of play (i.e. 100% commitment), he would be one of the players to fall by the wayside as we improved. I couldn't have been more wrong. He has improved consistently since he came here and was a vital factor in the 6 game winning run that made us CHAMP16NS.
