I find it strange that anyone would change the words to his already well known song to suit their own version because they like it better.

Does this rule apply to any given song or just football ones? It's fair enough not liking it, but that's the words and that's his song at the end of the day.

I agree with those about the Stam line. Jaap fucking Stam? Fuck off! It's a song about Zabaleta and Stam's name is mentioned just as often? Not for me that! I always skip that line and just sing the rest.
