Zabaleta linked with summer move?

Just watching his interview after the Palace game on youtube; he always comes across well, and strikes me as just a "bloody good bloke, actually" (with thanks to Tim nice but dim). We're lucky to have him, and lucky that he seems to love the club and isn't your stereotypical modern mercenary. And his English is slightly better than my Spanish!

Brilliant last night - did one tackle where he took two out and I thought he was injured but he simply rolled back up. When he celebrated at the end - you just knew he meant every inch of it. Legend.

I think the rest with his injury did him good. Looks like the real zab again.

He just gives off a vibe that the other players respect. He should be starting the majority of the games now despite how well Sagna has done.

I have a good feeling about us when he plays. To be honest he should be the captain for me.

Saw somebody on here post the other day that they hope he becomes our Zanetti. At the time, I was cynical as Zab has looked a bit jaded in the last year or so.

Last night proved that I could well be wrong. This guy oozes Manchester City, the emotion he showed after the 3rd goal and final whistle. Never leave Zab, you're irreplaceable.

Sanga has been a good deputy, played well, defended very well this season.

But the difference in quality between him and Zaba is huge. His movement, his tackling, his runs up the line, his speed of thought with the ball is all on a higher keel to Sagna.

I don't want to ever lose Zaba. Get him a job in the coaching set up the day he retires and keep him here, mound Jim into a future manager and then retire him into a club executive!

Zaba is the fucking man!

Great picture of Zabba celebrating at the end of the game on the official website. It means as much to him as it does to us and you cant say better than that.

The last two phases of the game were Zab making two challenges, knowing we were a man light.

Given absolutely no protection in the first half but he was excellent and his usual inspirational self.

In terms of legend, he will rightly take his place.

A model professional and one of the greatest right-backs in the Premier League era.
