He's a defender who can't defend, if he's only good going forward he should be a wide midfield player instead.

johnson is the right sided version of bale, he should be a winger. if i was to pick a defender id pick the player who could actually DEFEND, so therefore id pick zabba. despite everyone thinking boateng is going to be our rb no mattaer what, mad pab zab is giving him a bloody good run for his money

Johnson can't defend.

The only thing Zab is lacks is speed, and if he had some would be one of the best full backs in the world. Maybe a bit of bias, but i genuinely believe it. He also dives in a bit to much, but seems to have sorted that of late.

His footballing brain is brilliant, and he can also use both feet. Johnson couldn't play left back in a million years. Zab is also a great pro, who gives 100% every game. Has been here less time than Tevez and is a fluent English speaker.

What a guy.

This ^, zabba is much better as a all round player and is helped by the fact he can play numerous positions and is a top pro.

Btw Zabs been here a whole year longer than Tevez ;)

I think you will find that Tevez has been in England a lot longer than Zab and still cannot speak English. I think that is what the poster is getting at.

Johnson is a good player but wouldn't say he's world class, he's good going forward but defensively not that good for me, Zabbs top defensively and good going forward imo so i reckon he's better.
