Zabaleta Out? Right back discussion {merged}

Got plenty of options. Boyata can play there - with Kompany back he will help him through games and he will grow in confidence, don't write him off for a few wobbles here and there last night. Or clichy could play right back and kolorov left back. How many different defensive lineups have we fielded so far? Now that the centre back pairing is a bit more settled we have injuries to our right backs! I think it makes sense to play either Boyata or Milner at right back. Need to think of our strongest possible team especially with Liverpool coming up, Suarez will just love to give a stand in right back the run around!

This season we have lost (so far) Aguero, silva, Kompany, Micah and now Zaba to muscle injuries.

Is there something amiss with our warm up routines? It's a long time since I played but we got it drilled into us that most muscle injuries were preventable by thorough stretching and warm up routines.

Lescott by the way isnt any footed. Ive never in my life seen a footballer so bad on the ball.

Id go Clichy at right back and Kolarov at left back over xmas and new year.
I've seen plenty, try harder.

Who?

Dont just name crap footballers. Tell me who is worse on the ball?

He does a job as he has good positional play, good in the air and is strong in the tackle. On the ball though he is woeful.

Rodwell for me. Might even give him the chance to finally get a run of games under his belt. Happy enough with Boyata, Milner at a push. Not Clichy - don't remember him ever playing on the right for us in the title season, was shifted there a couple of times in Europe last season as we switched from 4 to 3 to 4 again etc, and looked all over the place

Need to get this sorted before the pools game. Jimmy could Do a job vs fulham. Don't know how good he'll play their tho.

Or could just give an EDS player a chance !

By who exactly? John Flanagan? Liverpool aren't using wingers at the moment and dinho or Vinnie can back him up if white fang starts targeting him.

I don't know about not using wingers, there best player apart from Suarez was Raheem Sterling against Spurs, they also put Moses on late on, so I would say they are using wingers quite a bit

And they were playing off Suarez as second strikers in a 3-5-2 with wing backs, navas and nasri should be capable of keeping those wing backs in their own half in eastlands.
