As well as stamping on his foot Podolski's knee also whacked Zaba's thigh in the follow through, probably a dead leg.

The thing was, it was full of intent. Podolski went in with the left leg, missed, and brought his right leg through to stamp on Zaba's foot/ankle - red card all day for me.

Funnily enough, Zaba then received a few minutes treatment on his right thigh, so not sure what is going on. He semi-jogged off though.
